One of Tamil Nadu’s pride is Kanyakumari, also called as Cape Comerin, which is the southernmost tip of the Indian Subcontinent. Here all the three oceans, Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea confluence in a boisterous clash of waters. The point of junction is called as “Thriveni sangama” and the tourists thrive to take a dip to experience it. The spectacular Moments of Sunrise and Sunset over the Ocean gives the credit to Kanyakumari that it is the only place in the world for watching both. Kanyakumari Amman temple, Vivekanandar Memorial Rock, Gandhi Mandapam, Tiruvalluvar statue, Our Lady of Ransom Church are the classical icons of Kanyakumari. The small city is also famous for the long green stretches of paddy fields, rubber garden, dense forests and the valley mountains of the Western Ghats.
